Patios & hardscaping
Stone patios, walls and walkways built to last
The bones of a great yard. We build hardscapes that drain properly, sit level for decades and look like they’ve always been there.

What’s included in every build
Most patio problems start underground. We dig deeper, compact more and plan drainage so your stone stays put through freeze, thaw and summer storms.
- Site plan with grading and drainage
- 6–8 inch compacted gravel base
- Local stone or premium pavers
- Polymeric joints and edge restraints
- Planting and cleanup around the finished space

Terraced beds and patio on a muddy slope
A slope that turned to mud every storm is now three planted terraces and a flagstone patio the family uses every evening.
Flagstone patio built for mountain winters
A new-build backyard with bare clay became a flagstone patio on an eight-inch base that hasn’t moved through two hard winters.

“The retaining wall fixed a drainage problem two other companies couldn’t. Marcus explained every step.”

Patio questions
How much does a stone patio cost?
Most flagstone patios we build land between $28 and $45 per square foot, depending on stone, access and site prep. We’ll give you a fixed price after a free site visit.
Natural stone or pavers?
Natural stone has a timeless, organic look. Pavers are more uniform and slightly more budget-friendly. We’ll bring samples of both.
Do I need a permit?
Most patios don’t, but retaining walls over four feet do. We handle permits whenever they’re required.
